Expressing gratitude is reflecting on the things in life that you are grateful for and then sharing your thoughts with another person or a group of people. This affects people and teens because by expressing your gratitude to someone, you bring happiness to that person and also to yourself. The person receiving compliments will feel happy because thoughtful comments are being said about them. The person expressing their gratitude will feel happy because they are doing something that is meaningful. A person can express their gratitude to someone by talking about the characteristics and qualities of that person that make them special.
